Cle Elum, Washington

We're here at Circle 8 ranch near Cle Elum. We've spent the weekend square dancing to three national callers - Jerry Junk, Daryl Clendenin, and Doug Davis. The weather has been nice, but not too hot.

Today, Sunday, we went into Cle Elum and had lunch. Then browsed through a little street fair they hold over the 4th of July weekend. Lots of the people attending the weekend here at Circle 8 have left, but there are still about 20 RV's here. This next week there is a caller's college and we may be guinea pigs for the new callers.

Buddy, our cat, has been having lots of fun. We think there are moles here and he has been digging. Every time he comes in he has dirt covering his front legs.

We're planning to head to McChord on Wednesday. While there we're hoping to see Connie's mom and dad and Bob's grandson and wife. On the 17th we're headed to Port Angeles for a few days. On the 19th we'll be taking a day trip to Victoria so that we can catch up with Bob's sister (from New York state) who will be there for the day.

We've posted some of our Europe pictures, but are hoping to post a few more now that we have them more or less organized on our computer. When we originially downloaded the pictures they wound up all in one large folder. This wasn't very condusive to finding the pictures we want to post to the blog. We've since figured out how to download the pictures from the IPOD into seperate folders with descriptive definitions.
