Home Again
We've made it back home to Wenatchee. We left the RV park near Zion on Tuesday morning and drove to Hill AFB, near Ogden, Utah. We spent the night amid snow flurries. Bob had to get on the roof of the RV in the morning and sweep the snow off the slides. From Hill AFB, we drove in one day almost 500 miles to just east of Missoula, Montana. It was a beautiful drive with lots of snow covered mountains. We woke up again to snow, but fortunately we were under a tree, so Bob didn't have to get on the RV roof.
Thursday morning we met up with a Washington state square dancer for breakfast at St. Regis, Montana. She had moved to Montana about 7 years ago, but is still active in the dancing in Washington. From there we traveled to Spokane - Fairchild AFB. Friday morning we again woke up to snow, but it soon melted. We then moved to the square dance hall in Spokane and spent the weekend dancing to a national caller who came in for this special weekend. Sunday morning we started to head home and discovered we had a flat tire on the fifth wheel. Bob changed the tire to the spare and we arrived home Sunday about 5:00 - just in time to watch Brian play the championship game in a slow pitch ball tournament - which they won.
This week we've been busy watching grandson, Hudson, weeding our yard, and unloading the fifth wheel. The weather has been pretty nice - near 70.
