Rocky Reach Dam

We've been home the last couple of weekends. We've enjoyed a few things around Wenatchee, including some wine tasting, and today a visit to Rocky Reach dam.

Brian and Toddi were making a trip up to their property in Entiat this morning, so after our morning bike ride, we offered to take Hudson for a few hours. After he woke up at their house, we put him in our car and took him home. There he had two scrambled eggs, with some grated zucchini and cheese, for breakfast. He also had yogurt and part of a cereal bar. That kid can eat! Next we headed up to Rocky Reach dam. They have a fish ladder so that the adult salmon can return upstream to spawn. We enjoyed watching the fish with Hudson. Then we walked around the museum with Hudson. We delivered him home about 1:45. Toddi said he was so tired he didn't want anything to eat and just wanted his nap. I just called over there and he was just waking up from his nap - wow 4 hours! I guess we really did tire him out.

We're headed over to the coast (as they call it from Wenatchee) tomorrow. The coast is anything west of the Cascade mountains. We'll be spending a few days at McChord AFB near Tacoma. My cousin and family are coming from San Jose for a week and we'll be going to Mt. Rainier and doing a few other things with them. More in the next blog.
