Wenatchee in the fall

We're going to try to hike a couple of times a week this fall. We went up to Silver Falls and hiked it on Sunday.

Wednesday we hiked into Eightmile Lake. This hike is near Leavenworth. It's 6.6 miles with 1350 of elevation gain. It was heating up and sunny when we headed out, but by the time we returned it had clouded over a little bit. It was a really great day for a hike. We made a stop about 20 minutes after finishing the hike and when I got out of the car I could hardly move. Fortunately, after a short soak in the hot tub I was in much better shape!
