Christmas Tree 2010

Today we headed up to Blewett Pass to get our tree. We pulled off the main road to drive up the Scotty Creek Road and within about 1/4 of a mile Bob got stuck. We were with Brian and Toddi and Hudson who made it fine, plus another couple who eveuntually got stuck. After spending about 45 minutes digging out we were finally able to get the trucks out and back them down the road. From there we walked in to get our trees.

We had quite a group, Bob and I, Michelle and her friend, Fawn, Brian, Toddi, and Hudson, and friends of Toddi and Brians', Tracie and Rob.

We walked in about a mile - most of us on snowshoes. Hudson walked part of the way and rode on the sled part of the way. When we got to the place with the trees we went sledding. Hudson had lots of fun. We cut our trees and then walked back out to our trucks. We then went to O'Grady's pantry in Leavenworth for a late lunch. It was a very fun day. We're pooped tonight.
