Bob foot surgery

Bob had corrective foot surgery on January 25th. The recovery period is 6-8 weeks non weight bearing. That means he can't walk anywhere. We rented a knee walker for him to use - it's much better than crutches. The first few weeks he was pretty much in his recliner with his foot elevated. Within the next week he should be able to be out of the recliner more - plans to clean off his workbench in the garage. Oh, won't that be nice!

The foot surgery has eliminated our square dancing together. So, I've been keeping busy by going to the gym 5 days a week, plus walking 3 miles every day.

Michelle and I did a road trip on Tuesday. We drove to Everett with my daughter-in-law and grandson. We delivered them to her mom, then had lunch, did some shopping, stopped by and saw Michelle's two kids, and then headed home. It was a busy day, but very gorgeous. The trip over the pass was stunning.
