Anne of Green Gables

To prepare for our trip to Prince Edward Island we watched the movie of Anne of Green Gables. This is a production by Kevin Sullivan.  It was 18 hours - and we thoroughly enjoyed all of it.  We checked the movie set our from our local library.  For those who like Downton Abbey it has lots of  similarity as Anne wore some beautiful clothes in the movie.

Today we visited Green Gables house.  We also walked on Lover's Lane.  The weather was nice and sunny - a perfect day for a visit.  Tonight we have tickets to the musical Anne of Green Gables in Charlottetown.  Tomorrow we head south - we may even make it back to the good ole USA.
