Quebec City

We made it to Quebec City.  This is a long drive from Washington state.  There are a lot of rough roads between Sault Ste. Marie and Quebec city, plus some nice ones. There is also lots of construction.  There were miles and miles of it in North Dakota and in Canada.  But, we made it here with no mishaps.  We towed the jeep from Montana without unhitching it.

Tuesday, June 2, we arrived in a nice park in Levis. This town is across the river from Quebec city, We took the ferry across.  The ferry puts you right into old town.  There is parking right at the ferry terminal for $6 a day, so it's a very easy way to get into Quebec city.

Now lets talk about the rain.  Rain, rain, go away.  That's how we felt yesterday.  It was very wet.  But, we wondered around the old city and had a lovely late lunch/early dinner.  We caught the 5:00 ferry back to Levis (where we're staying) and called it a day.
