3 days until we leave for Alaska

We're planning to leave for Alaska bright and early on Thursday, July 14th. Hoping to stop at Whistler on the way to Prince George. We need to be in Prince George by the 18th to meet up with the 3 other couples going to Alaska.

We've had a busy week, but are almost completely out of the house. One load to put in storage, one trip to the dump, and one trip to the donation place. Wednesday morning I (Connie) goes to the dentist and after that we sign the sale papers on our home.


Bob also had some sad news regarding his brother this week. He passed away from cancer on July 9th.

We also had some fun times. We went to a friends for a barbecue on Saturday. We had the same friends to dinner plus other friends on Sunday night. I even made an apple pie in our oven in our new fifth wheel. Bob got to help round up the 22 black angus cows that got out of the pasture on the farm where we're staying.
