San Carlos, Mexico

We made it 270 miles south of the border on our first day of driving in Mexico. Before entering Mexico, we had advise as to all of the ins and outs of getting needed permits. There is a large station 21 kilometers south of the border where we stopped and obtained our vehicle permits. Also, obtained our entry visas.

We're here in an RV park that has free wi-fi. The park is right across from the water. There is very beautiful scenery in this area. This morning we took about a 3 mile(roundtrip) walk to the bank and grocery store. The temperature is very pleasant - around 75 degrees.

Monday morning we'll be headed south to our next stop. We're going to spend two nights at a beachfront RV park and then arrive in Mazatlan on Wednesday afternoon. At least that's the plan for now.
