The Netherlands

We flew out of Seattle on May 22nd. The flight to London was uneventful other than it being too warm. Our stewardess gave us a bottle of champagne to compensate us for the extra heat!!

We found our hotel in London with no problem On the day of arrival we went to the National Gallery and to the London Eye. After a great night's sleep we went to the Winston Churchill war museum. We found it very interesting.

We took a train to Gatwick airport and flew via Easyjet to Amsterdam. We walked out of the terminal and caught the suggested bus to Haarlem where we'll be staying for 4 days. Our actual Rick Steves tour starts on Saturday, the 26th.
