New York wedding

We had a good trip to NY. We flew to Albany and then drove north about an hour to Glens Falls, Bob's hometown. We were attending the wedding of Bob's nephew, Glenn. The wedding was unbelievable. They had a limo for us from the hotel to the golf and country club where the wedding was held. We walked in the door and they gave us glasses of champagne. It was a beautiful setting. The wedding was a 5 pm, so when we got there just after 4 it was still light. It was snowing lightly and beautiful outside. The room we were in looked out over the golf course. The ceremony was very nice – the bride was beautiful and the groom handsome. Then back to the original room where we had waited for the ceremony to begin where they had tons of appetizers. They had pasta, shrimp, cheese and crackers, baked brie, Hawaiian chicken, and a full bar. So, after enjoying this we were seated back in the room where the ceremony was held for dinner. We all had our assigned places at the dinner tables. They served us salads and then chicken and beef and potatoes and vegetables. There was a DJ and lots of dancing. Oh, and then we had the Grand Parisian desert buffet. And along with that came any kind of after dinner drink you wanted – shots of White Chocolate liquor, or brandy, or baileys. And, at 11:00, they had another limo for us to get back to the hotel! It was quite a party and so much fun.
