St. George, Utah

We left Wenatchee on Wednesday, March 23rd heading for St. George, Utah. Unforuntately we had some problems with our trailer lights on the left side. We had them fixed at an RV repair place in Idaho, but within minutes of leaving we had no cruise control. So, we pulled into a chevy dealership in Twin Falls, Idaho. Well it turns out the RV place put in a 30 amp breaker instead of 10 or 20 amp breaker and when Bob turned on the flashers they blew up. Anyway, Saturday morning we got everything fixed and headed south. We travelled south so that we were within 150 miles of St. George. Next morning when we hitched up we again had no left blinker, brake lights, etc. So, we drove on down here to St. George and Bob has tried to figure out what is wrong, but we may have to take it in again to have it looked at.

And, now we have no heater. We've been dry camping, so maybe it is just a low or problem battery. We'll plug in on Sunday and see if that helps.

We've been touring around the St. George area and doing some hikes. It has been really beautiful.

Happy Birthday to Bob

Today is Bob's 63rd birthday. One advantage to getting older is he is only 2 years from being able to draw his state retirement! We went out to dinner tonight. Bob had the swordfish and said it was the best he ever had. We ate at a place called 'Smokeblossom'. It's right in downtown Wenatchee and has some pretty good food.

We've been getting ready to head out on our trip to Utah. The fifthwheel is cleaned up, partially packed, and just needing the final items from the fridge and kitchen, some cosmetics, and of course the cat, Buddy.

Last weekend we drove to the tri-cities (Kennewick) for a square dance event. We danced Friday night, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday morning. This was a 'plus' level dance, but they called the moves from all sorts of different positions. Also, a new thing was half of a move, interruption with another move, and then finish the second half of the first move. Sound confusing? You're right it can be. It was fun and sure kept us on our toes. We had 9 couples from our Wenatchee club. Several of us went out to dinner on Saturday night and then again for lunch on Sunday.

The newest family member, Hudson, is doing well. He lost about a pound, but has gained it back. We stopped by yesterday afternoon and I was watching Hudson to make sure he didn't roll off the changing table. Toddi had taken off his diaper, then went to get something. In the meantime, he (being a boy) managed to pee all over everything. I was glad I didn't have anything in the way!
