Irish Eclipse Cruise on Oceania

On July 31, 2026, we flew to Reykjavik, Iceland. While there we did the Golden Circle tour. On August 3rd we boarded the Oceania Insignia. The cruise was 12 days with Kirkwall Orkney Island and Ullapool in Scottland and Killybegs, Foynes, Bantry, and Cork in Ireland. We had a great time and met some really nice people. Our tour to the Cliffs of Moyer got cancelled at the last minute and while on the tender going ashore, we met a group of 4 people who invited us along on their private tour.

Galveston cruise on RCL

We flew to Houston for a 7 day cruise out of Galveston, TX. Before the cruise we visited the Houston Nasa Space Center. This was a square dance cruise with 700 dancers and 18 callers. Our ports were Roatan, Honduras, Costa Maya, Mexico, and Cozumel, Mexico. The cruise was from February 8-15,2026.

Oceania Antarctica Cruise

On December 21, 2025, we set sail on the Oceania Marina from Santiago, Chili. It was a 20-day cruise that included the following: Puerto Montt, Castro, (Chiloe Island), Puerto Chacabuco, Laguna San Rafael, Cruising the Chilean Fjords, Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, Drake Passage, 3 days cruising Antarctica, Falkland Islands, Puerto Madryn, and ending in Buenos Aires. We traveled with our friends Sue and Richard Norris.

Nashville & Memphis with Michelle

My daughter, Michelle, and I took a trip to Nashville and Memphis in March 2025. We stayed at a Holiday Inn that had a free shuttle to downtown. We enjoyed several days there. We visited the Country Music Hall of Fame, did a walking tour of Nashville, visited the state capital and Tennessee state museum.

We attended a Susan G Komer cancer fundraiser at the Ryman Auditorium that featured Trisha Yearwood, Keith Urban, Terri Clark, and others. We went to the Grand Ole Opry and enjoyed it immensely. Featured artist was Vince Gill. We drove to Memphis and spent two days. Toured Graceland, went to BB Kings, and the Civil Rights Museum.

Hawaii Cruise from San Diego

We flew to San Diego and spent a couple of days. We went to the San Diego Zoo. Bob was out of breath, so we rented a scooter. We saw the pandas which was fun.

We left on the Koningsdam - a Holland America ship out of San Diego four our 18 day cruise. We celebrated our 40th anniversary while on the cruise. We had 5 days at sea on the way there, plus 5 days returning. We visited each of the islands. We traveled with our friends, Sue and Richard.
