We have now made it to Singapore. We arrived for our flight last night to find United had rescheduled us to the day before. We were rebooked on Cathay and flew out at 1:30am.  We arrived at our hotel about 6am. We board our cruise ship tomorow.

We flew 14 hours from San Francisco to Hong Kong. We had a nice time using the hop on hop off bus for two days. Tonight we had our first oops of the trip. When arriving at the airport we found that United had changed our reservation to the day before. They have rebooked us on another flight leaving at 1:30am.

We are ready for our big trip. We fly to SFO and then on to HongKong.

Casa Grande, AZ

We're now in Casa Grande, AZ having arrived here on November 1, 2012.  Our truck is finally fixed - $1900 - ouch!  Turns out they wired in our running boards incorrectly (6 years ago) and over time the wire corroded and started the fire. 

I took dad to the doctor today.  He kept saying - "I didn't make this appointment."  He never knew that I had made the appointment.  Anyway, after a long morning that included blood work, the doctor, and a cat scan on his brain we had lunch at Denny's.  Tuesday at 3:00 we have the followup.  The doctor is suggesting that there is a medication that might slow down dad's memory loss.  Of course, whether he can remember to take it is another story.

We're getting excited about our big trip to HongKong, Singapore, and Australia.  We leave on November 18th, so it's coming up fast.  We head for Indio, CA on Wednesday, then on next Sunday we make a mad dash for Wenatchee.  We just hope the weather cooperates on our trip home.  No SNOW!
